Katherine Roe, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Education and Educational Psychology Department at Western Connecticut State University. She transitioned from being a Special Education Teacher in New York City to academia, where her work focuses on literacy, special education, and classroom technology integration to support diverse learners.
