Katherine Brewer

Katherine Brewer is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at Auburn University, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. She holds both a BA (2002) and MA (2005) in English from Auburn University, with a minor in political science. Her research interests focus on world literature, and she teaches composition and world literature courses. Brewer is also engaged in creative writing outside her academic responsibilities.

Teaching and Career: Brewer joined Auburn’s faculty in 2006 after a year teaching at a private elementary school. She currently holds office hours Wednesday-Thursday 2:30–4:30 PM, Friday 1–3 PM, or by appointment.
