Carrie Spell is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at Auburn University's College of Liberal Arts. She holds a PhD and MA in creative writing from the University of Southern Mississippi and a BA in English from Cornell University. Her research interests include creative writing and world literature. She advises the English Club and serves as an associate editor of the Southern Humanities Review, with past editorial roles at Mississippi Review, New World Writing, and others.
