Katharina Neumann is a Research Fellow with the Climate Litigation Network and a DPhil candidate in Law at the University of Oxford, affiliated with Green Templeton College. She is supervised by Professor Lavanya Rajamani in the Faculty of Law, focusing on regulatory frameworks for agricultural emissions under International Environmental Law. Her work examines state obligations within the UN Climate Change Regime and other Multilateral Environmental Agreements to support Paris Agreement goals.
She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from the University of Oxford and an LL.B in Law and Political Science (Distinction) from Trinity College Dublin. During her studies, she held leadership roles, including Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Trinity's legal gazette The Eagle and Vice-President of the European Law Students' Association Ireland.
Her research interests span Climate Change Law, International Environmental Law, and Public International Law. She contributes to interdisciplinary projects through the Public International Law Research Group and Environmental Law Discussion Group at Oxford.
