Kate Stevens

Kate Stevens is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Music at the University of Texas at Arlington. A distinguished collaborative pianist, she has built a career performing in diverse settings including chamber music, art song, opera, and solo recitals. She has collaborated with notable artists such as Dawn Upshaw, Peter Sellars, and John Adams, and performed with major orchestras and festivals globally.

• Education: DMA in Classical Accompanying from Manhattan School of Music (2005), MM in Piano Performance from Texas Christian University (1997), BM in Piano Performance from Elder Conservatorium of Music (1994).
• Teaching: Offers courses in Keyboard Accompaniment, Private Piano Lessons, and Studio Classes at UTA, focusing on collaborative piano and performance.
• Recent Engagements: Collaborated with artists like Ava Pine, Jonathan Beyer, and Julien Beaudiment, and serves as a guest artist at University of North Texas and Texas Christian University.
