Kate DeLuca

Kate DeLuca serves as Associate Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs at the Duquesne University School of Nursing, where she has worked since 2004. She holds dual undergraduate degrees from Duquesne University (Political Science and Business), an MBA (2008), and an EdD in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh (2017).

Dr. DeLuca's work focuses on enhancing nursing education through student support initiatives, diversity programs, and grant management. She has developed key institutional ceremonies and academic support systems.

Her notable achievements include securing over $1.8 million in HRSA Nurse Faculty Loan Program grants (2014-2025) and receiving the Duke of Diversity award (2019) and NAACP Image Award (2020). She also serves as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator and committee member across campus.
