Before academia, DeLuca served as Senior Vice President of Programming at ESPN (1996-2010), directing major events like the NCAA Championships, MLB Monday Night Baseball, and the creation of 'Saturday Night Football.' At CBS Sports (1979-1996), he managed iconic NCAA March Madness broadcasts and launched the SEC on CBS network.
