Kassahun Kebede, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Justice Studies at Eastern Washington University (EWU), affiliated with the College of Social Sciences. His expertise spans international migration, transnationalism, and development-induced displacement. He has authored works on African diaspora communities, rural livelihoods in Ethiopia, and the impacts of climate change on marginalized populations.
Dr. Kebede holds a Wenner-Gren Foundation grant and has consulted for organizations like the World Bank and USAID.
