Joshua B. Hill is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), where he also serves as Director of the Institute for Advanced Analytics and Security. He is a Fellow at the Office of Global Perspectives and Metropolitan Center at the University of Central Florida.
- Education: PhD in Criminal Justice (2012), Master’s of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology, and Bachelor’s of Arts in International Relations, all from Sam Houston State University.
Research interests span machine learning, terrorism/homeland security, research design/methods, political rhetoric, and cybercrime. His work integrates computational techniques with criminological theory and policy analysis.
