George W. Burruss is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminology at the University of South Florida and affiliated with the Florida Cybersecurity Center. His research focuses on criminal justice organizations, including policing, homeland security, juvenile courts, and cybercrime. He earned his Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2001.
