Josh Pollitz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Syracuse University, joining in Fall 2023. His research focuses on commutative algebra with homological aspects, including cohomological support, triangulated categories, and connections to representation theory and homotopy theory. He holds a PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2019) and was an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Utah (2019–2023).
