Dr Joseph Corkin is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Middlesex University's Faculty of Business and Law, Department of Law and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute and an LLB from University College London and Cologne University. His research focuses on constitutionalism, European integration, and regulatory governance, particularly exploring lawmaking outside traditional constitutional structures. He has conducted significant research for the European Commission and co-led an AHRC-funded project on transnational governance networks with the University of Bristol.
Teaching responsibilities include leading the Legal Method module and co-leading EU Law and EU Internal Market Law.
