Joseph Coppin

Joseph Coppin is a Professor at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where he has served on the faculty since 1996. He specializes in Archetypal Psychology, Depth Psychotherapy, and research methodologies. Dr. Coppin has chaired the Depth Psychology Program for four years and the Depth Psychotherapy Program during its inaugural three years. His expertise extends to clinical practice, having been a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT, CA) since 1980.

He co-authored The Art of Inquiry: A Depth Psychological Approach, contributing to scholarly discourse in his field. Additionally, he serves as a contributing faculty member at the Instituto de Psicologia Profunda in Mexico City, bridging international academic collaboration.
