Fanny Brewster is a Core Faculty member at Pacifica Graduate Institute in the Depth Psychology Specialization in Integrative Therapy and Healing Practices. She has also previously served as adjunct faculty in the Depth, Archetypal and Jungian Psychology (DJA) and Depth Psychotherapy Departments (DPT). Additionally, she is affiliated with the C.G. Jung Foundation of New York as a faculty member and Jungian analyst.

Dr. Brewster’s research and professional work focuses on integrating Jungian and Depth Psychology with themes of Culture, Diversity, and Creativity. Her notable publication, Archetypal Grief: Slavery’s Legacy of Intergenerational Child Loss, explores the intersection of archetypal theory and intergenerational trauma. She has developed experiential workshops on Dreams, Creative Writing, and Mythology through the New York Analytical Psychology Club and delivered national/international lectures and workshops.
Dr. Brewster has received recognition for her contributions, including two Gradiva Award nominations for her writing. She maintains a private practice in New York City and facilitates Sacred Circles for group individuation processes. Her recent work emphasizes emotional comfort, self-centeredness, and enrichment through Jungian techniques like Active Imagination and Dreamwork.
