Col. Joseph (Joe) Augustine is a Professor of Air and Space Studies and Commander of the Air Force ROTC Detachment 695 at the University of Portland. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from the United States Air Force Academy and trained as a test pilot at the Empire Test Pilots’ School. His career includes roles as a helicopter test pilot across the U.S. and internationally, including postings in the UK and Jordan. Prior to his current position, he served in various Air Force roles.
