Jordan B Gingrich

Captain Jordan B Gingrich serves as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and Assistant Operations Flight Commander at the Air Force ROTC Detachment 765, The Citadel. He oversees instructional activities for one of the largest Air Force cadet corps. Previously, he held roles in spacecraft operations engineering, test organization leadership, and program management within the U.S. Space Force, managing teams of over 30 personnel and contributing to strategic decision-making through data collection.

Educated at the University of Missouri–Columbia (BS in Mechanical Engineering, 2017) and Florida Institute of Technology (MS in Space Systems, 2022), Gingrich has served in key assignments including Deputy Director of Inspections at Patrick AFB, lead roles in GPS III/IIIF systems, and Joint Terminal Engineer Office Chief.

His awards reflect excellence in leadership and operational success, including the Air & Space Commendation Medal and multiple team performance accolades. Gingrich’s career bridges academic instruction with high-stakes military engineering and operational leadership.
