Dr. Jo Jenkinson is a Reader and Deputy Head at the Manchester Fashion Institute (Manchester Metropolitan University). Her work bridges fashion education, industry collaboration, and youth studies. She holds a PhD (2023), BA (Hons) in Fashion Design & Technology (1993), and a PGCert in Academic Practice. Her research focuses on fashion, gender, youth identity, and material culture, with projects like Portrait Youth and Locating Menswear.
