Jintong Tang is the Mary Louise Murray Endowed Professor of Management and Director of the Emerson Leadership Institute at Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Alabama, M.S. in Management Information Systems from Governors State University, and B.A. in English from Tianjin Foreign Studies University.
Her research examines Entrepreneurial Alertness, Entrepreneurial Orientation, and Gender and Entrepreneurship. She investigates how cognitive factors and institutional environments influence opportunity recognition and innovation in new ventures.
Publications explore linguistic influences on entrepreneurship, gender disparities in innovation, and ethical decision-making in emerging markets. Her work appears in Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, and other leading outlets.
