Anastasios Kaburakis is Professor of Management at Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business. His research addresses legal and governance challenges in sports business, including esports, gambling regulation, and NCAA compliance.
He holds a JD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and PhD in Sports Management from Indiana University. He serves as NCAA consultant for international student-athlete inclusion.
His research examines global sports governance, intellectual property conflicts, and regulatory evolution in emerging sectors like esports betting. Recent work focuses on NCAA policy reform and international athlete transitions.
