Jerome Katz is the Robert H. Brockhaus Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship at Saint Louis University's Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, Department of Management.

Research explores entrepreneurship education, firm emergence, opportunity recognition, and international entrepreneurship. He is founding director of the Chaifetz Fellows Program and co-author of the textbook Entrepreneurial Small Business.
His publications consistently address entrepreneurial pedagogy, SME strategies, and cross-cultural venture creation. Recent work emphasizes business plan relevance, internationalization pathways, and social entrepreneurship typologies.
Awards include Longenecker Fellow status, Thomas M. Knapp Faculty Award, and Foundational Paper Award. He founded the Billiken Angels Network and advises initiatives including Arch Grants and MedLaunch.
