Jiaxi (Jessie) Li is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Dance at the Conservatory of Shenandoah University since Fall 2024. Specializing in ballet technique, pointe, dance theory, pedagogy, and choreography, she combines technical excellence with artistry and academic inquiry.

Her research focuses on dance somatic study and holistic approaches to dance education, informed by her certification as a yoga teacher (James Miller Yoga, Iowa City).
Professional Highlights: Jessie was promoted to soloist at City Ballet of San Diego within her first year and performed with Ballet Arizona under Ib Andersen. She produced and choreographed student dance concerts at the University of Iowa and taught at Peridance Center (New York City) and the School of City Ballet of San Diego.
