Jessica Piso

Dr. Jessica Piso serves as Adjunct Professor of Flute at Maryville College's Division of Fine Arts. She is an active performer and educator across the United States, with experience in applied flute instruction, chamber music coaching, and conducting flute choirs.

• Education: B.M.E. from Ohio University, M.M. in Flute Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi, and D.M.A. in Flute Performance from the University of Oklahoma.

Her professional expertise includes Suzuki Flute Teacher Training, music appreciation courses, and flute methods instruction for music education majors. She has performed with orchestras such as the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Oklahoma Festival Ballet, and her teaching philosophy emphasizes holistic development for flutists through initiatives like the Oklahoma Flute Fair and online workshops.
