Natalie Syring serves as an Adjunct Music Instructor at Oklahoma Christian University, the University of Central Oklahoma, and Herbert Armstrong College, teaching flute, class piano, aural skills, and other music courses. As a performing artist, she was principal flutist of The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra for many years and currently performs with the Oklahoma Community Orchestra, frequently appearing as a featured soloist with multiple ensembles including the UCO Chamber Orchestra.

Ms. Syring specializes in flute performance with deep expertise in historical performance practice, particularly baroque flute interpretation through the Brisch Center for Historical Performance and Oklahoma Baroque Orchestra. Her educational initiatives include founding and directing the Oklahoma Flute Society’s Honor Flute Choirs for grades 7-12 and the Oklahoma Adult Flute Choir since 2004, reflecting her commitment to community-based music pedagogy. She maintains an active performance schedule as a soloist on the UCO Faculty Artist Concert Series and as flutist for the professional chamber ensemble Eclipse.
Her professional engagements span national conferences of the National Flute Association in Chicago, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Kansas City. She holds memberships in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), Oklahoma Music Teachers Association (OMTA), and OKC Pianists’ Club, demonstrating extensive involvement in both performance and educational communities.
