Jess Kuronen

Jess Kuronen is an Adjunct Professor at The Cooper Union, where she earned her BFA. She also serves as Assistant Curator at the Herb Lubalin Study Center. Her professional focus spans design, rare book curation, and typography. She maintains an independent design practice with clients including Todd Oldham, Google, and Penguin Random House.

Her research interests center on making material history accessible through her NYC rare bookstore, Left Bank Books, which specializes in art, literature, design, and NYC history. She has guest-critic roles at Pratt, Rutgers University, and Tyler School of Art.
