Jerry Kearns

Jerry Kearns is a Professor in the Department of Art at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His work focuses on 'psychological pop' paintings that explore American belief structures through iconography and narratives of power struggles in Western popular culture. Kearns has exhibited internationally since the 1980s, with works featured in major institutions like the Museum of Modern Art (New York), Brooklyn Museum, and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

His art critically examines societal constructions of reality through multidimensional, conflicted compositions.
