Gianna Commito is a Professor of Painting at Kent State University's School of Art. She creates paintings using casein on marble dust/clay grounds, exploring architectural spaces and built environments. Represented by Rachel Uffner Gallery (NYC), Abattoir (Cleveland), and Marrow Gallery (San Francisco).
Education includes an MFA from University of Iowa and BFA from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.
