Jeremy Strickler

Jeremy Strickler is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Service at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). He teaches courses in American politics and public policy, with a focus on the presidency, American political development, and U.S. drug policy.

His scholarship includes publications in Presidential Studies Quarterly and the edited volume New Directions in the American Presidency. Strickler has completed a book manuscript analyzing presidential linkage of military and social policies during wartime periods. His teaching emphasizes contemporary democratic challenges through courses like "Repairing American Democracy" and "War and American Politics".
