Tracye L. Pool serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of English within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), where she has been a dedicated faculty member since 1991. Her extensive teaching portfolio includes Professional Writing, Rhetoric and Composition I/II, Developmental Writing, Writing for Social Sciences, Creative Writing, Introduction to Women’s Studies, and the specialized course "The Real Skinny: Anorexia in Medieval Saints and Contemporary Women." Recognized for excellence in Spring 2020 with the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Lecturer Award, she pioneered UTC’s Coursera massive open online course platform and served as English Department Internship Coordinator from 2018–2020.
