Jennifer Hope Davy is an artist, writer, and academic working at the intersection of perception, interruption, and critical theory. She currently serves as an Advising Fellow at the European Graduate School (EGS) and is a fellow in residence with the Tulsa Artist Fellowship. Her academic roles include adjunct professorships at the University of Texas San Antonio, visiting professorships at institutions like Massachusetts College of Art and Design and Transart Institute, and guest professorships in Berlin and Bangkok. Davy’s research critically engages with staging, aporia, and potentiality in contemporary art and philosophy, drawing on theorists like Derrida and Agamben, and artists such as Matthew Barney and Frances Alÿs.
Education: BFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the San Francisco Art Institute (sculpture, installation, performance); MA in Modern and Contemporary Art History and Criticism from the University of Texas San Antonio (thesis on tableau vivant and artifice); PhD from EGS (dissertation on aporetic potentiality).

Current projects include adapting Inbetween Places into an audio play and completing On Endings.
Labs/Teams: Collaborates with artists and institutions including Studio Wolfgang Tillmans, Radiator Festival, and Delere Press. Her work blurs boundaries between academia, curation, and artistic production.
