Dr. Ma's research integrates visual and linguistic scholarship through dual specializations in East Asian artistic traditions and Chinese language pedagogy. Her work examines cultural transmission mechanisms across Chinese artistic media while developing innovative methodologies for language instruction, creating synergies between art historical analysis and linguistic education that advance interdisciplinary understanding of Sino-cultural heritage. This cross-disciplinary approach positions her at the intersection of visual culture studies and applied linguistics within East Asian academic frameworks.
