Janine Joyce is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Social Sciences, Social Work, and Youth Work at the School of Arts and Humanities, Edith Cowan University. She holds a PhD in Social Science and has extensive experience in interdisciplinary research, focusing on ecosystem resilience, climate justice, and community adaptive capacity. Her work integrates Indigenous knowledge systems and participatory approaches to address environmental and social challenges. She has received a Commonwealth Scholarship (2012–2014) and has supervised numerous PhD students in areas such as refugee mental health and yogic peace education.
Research interests span climate justice, Indigenous knowledge, refugee resilience, and peace education.
