Dr. Jane Carr serves as Head of the School of Media and Performance at the University of Bedfordshire. She holds a PhD from Roehampton University and advanced degrees in Dance Studies from Laban. Her career spans professional ballet performance, academic research, and community arts advocacy. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance.
Dr. Carr's research focuses on embodiment in dance practices, with projects funded by the Arts Council England and AHRC.
