Jamie Lynn Slenker

Jamie Lynn Slenker is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Art & Design at the University of New Haven, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. She brings extensive professional experience in interior design, focusing on corporate, government, and healthcare facilities, as well as sustainable residential and commercial projects.

• Education: M.F.A. in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)
• Education: B.S. in Interior Design from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)

Her research emphasizes design as a tool for social change, integrating environmental conservancy, multidisciplinary collaboration, and experiential learning. She is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and holds LEED accreditation from the United States Green Building Council.
