James M Kettner

James M Kettner ("Kett") is an Adjunct II Professor in the Graduate Comics Program at California College of the Arts (CCA). A multidisciplinary artist and educator, he specializes in graphic memoirs, punk culture, and narrative storytelling. His notable work includes Ink in Water, a critically acclaimed graphic memoir co-created with Lacy J. Davis, praised by Library Journal and comics luminaries like Jessica Abel. Kett teaches at CCA’s Youth Arts Summer Programs (YASP) and Atelier, as well as at Dominican University of California, St. Mary’s College, and Oregon College of Art and Craft.
