Jake Horstmeier

Jake Horstmeier is a Performance Lecturer in the Theatre Department at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He holds an MFA in Acting from Purdue University and specializes in theatre performance, education, and interdisciplinary arts. His work spans regional theatre, independent film, and music projects.

Recent theatre credits include roles in FROM HERE TO ETERNITY, SCHOOL OF ROCK, and MAMMA MIA! with Skylight Music Theatre, as well as ALMOST, MAINE with Next Act Theatre. Film work includes SHERMAN PARK and THE DRY LINE. He is a teaching artist with The Milwaukee Rep and performs music under the names Lake Juke and Dacada Summer.
