Jake Bowers

Jake Bowers is a Professor of Statistics and Political Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. He holds additional professorships at the European Union Center, Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and is an affiliate of the Center for Social & Behavioral Science. Bowers earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on political methodology, applied statistics, and political behavior, with emphasis on causal inference, experimental design, and evidence-based policymaking.
