Jade Wilson is a Lecturer in Interior Design at the Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University. She holds a BA (Hons) in Interior Design from the Sheffield Institute of Arts and an MA in Design (Interiors). Her current research, funded by Research England, explores the 100-year life and future home environments to enhance quality of life for older adults. She is a member of the Design Research Hub, focusing on design as a research tool and co-design methods to improve health and well-being through the home environment.

- Monitoring Parkinson’s Disease Symptoms: Collaborates on developing a novel device/software to assess gait and symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, aiming to improve quality of life.
Jade supports students through Personal Learning Plans and advocates for inclusive educational environments. She integrates theory with practice in teaching, emphasizing academic research and writing skills.
