Jackie Hoermann-Elliott

Dr. Jackie Hoermann-Elliott is an Associate Professor of English, Rhetoric, and Spanish at Texas Woman's University (TWU) within the College of Arts & Sciences. She serves as Director of First-Year Composition and contributes to TWU's Health & Well-Being Initiative through movement- and mindfulness-based pedagogy.

Recent publications explore racial geography in composition, self-efficacy for underrepresented writers, and contemplative approaches to technical writing. Awards highlight her excellence in writing program administration, service to student life, and academic leadership. She actively collaborates on OER development and global writing initiatives.
