Sara Bartlett Large

Sara Bartlett Large is an Associate Professor of Writing and Writing Across the Curriculum Coordinator at Lasell University. She holds a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Writing Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso (2016), an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Georgia State University (2008), and a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2001). Her teaching spans first-year composition, technical writing, professional writing, and creative writing, with prior roles including Assistant Director of the Rhetoric and Writing Studies program at UTEP and writing consultant for Georgia State's nursing program.

Her research focuses on translingual writing, writing and identity, and writing across the curriculum. She has presented at national and regional conferences and contributed to the development of an online graduate certificate program in technical and professional writing. Her office is located in the Science and Technology Center 104B, and she teaches courses WRT 101 Writing I and WRT 102 Writing II.
