Isabelle Guinaudeau

Isabelle Guinaudeau is a CNRS Research Fellow at the Center for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE) at Sciences Po. Her work bridges comparative politics, electoral studies, and the sociology of public action, focusing on electoral promises, political competition, and European integration.

• Key Research: Led the ANR Partipol project (2014-2018) and co-leads the Franco-German UNEQUALMAND project (2022-2025) on mandate responsiveness and social group targeting.
• Teaching: Offers seminars and lectures on comparative politics, agenda-setting, and European party systems in multiple languages.

Guinaudeau’s research explores the interplay between electoral commitments and policy outcomes, emphasizing experimental surveys and cross-national comparisons. Her work addresses executive popularity, coalition governments, and institutional dynamics in Western Europe and the EU.
