Ian Mizuki (Imran) is a Lecturer currently completing his PhD in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior at York University. He teaches in postgraduate HR programs at George Brown College and has been pedagogically trained at the University of Toronto, where he contributed to teaching teams across Rotman, ICCIT, IMI, CIRHR, and the Departments of Management at both the Mississauga and Scarborough campuses.
His research focuses on the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on organizational structures and workforce dynamics, examining how intelligent systems reshape work experiences, governance, and conceptualizations of labor. This work bridges technology, management theory, and sustainability practices.
Prior to academia, he held roles in people and culture, employee engagement, and sustainability across several organizations, including formal leadership training at Amazon.
