Sonia Kang

Dr. Sonia Kang is a Professor of Organizational Behaviour and HR Management at the Department of Management, University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), and the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Her research focuses on identity, diversity, and inclusion, leveraging behavioral insights and organizational design to dismantle systemic barriers.

Recent publications address occupational stereotypes in workforce segregation, gender inclusion in medicine, and the psychological impacts of perceived racial discrimination. Her work bridges experimental social psychology with practical organizational interventions.
