Heather Deyling

Heather Deyling is a Foundation Studies Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), specializing in digital and traditional art pedagogy. She holds an M.F.A. in Painting from Temple University and a B.F.A. from Kent State University.

Her professional journey includes roles as Professor of eLearning (2015–present) and Professor of Foundation Studies (2006–2015) at SCAD, where she developed curricula and led technology integration initiatives. She previously taught at Temple University and Kent State University.

Awards include multiple artist residencies and fellowships. She exhibits nationally, with recent shows exploring themes of accumulation and symbiosis through mixed-media installations.
