Hasti Abbasi

Hasti Abbasi is a Senior Lecturer in Learning Futures at Deakin University, leading strategic initiatives to enhance teaching capabilities and recognizing academic excellence. She coordinates programs such as the Peer Supported Teaching Practice Program and organizes the Teaching and Learning Conference, fostering educational innovation across disciplines. Dr. Abbasi holds a PhD in Literary Studies (Migration, Identity, Writing), an MA and BA in English Language and Literature, and a Graduate Certificate in Digital Learning Leadership. Her research focuses on student experiences in higher education, inclusive education, culturally diverse learners, and the impact of peer-supported teaching practices. She also explores migrant narratives through short story writing.
