Dr. Harry Adams is an Associate Lecturer at The Courtauld Institute of Art specializing in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British art and architecture. He completed his CHASE/AHRC-funded PhD thesis, 'George Dance the Younger’s Urban Planning for the City of London, 1768-1816', in 2024 under Professor Christine Stevenson's supervision.
Adams's research examines architectural drawings, urban planning, and historical mapping. He contributes to the interdisciplinary 'Mapping Multifaith London' project, locating sites significant to religious minorities in London (1688-1750). His teaching includes BA courses on European art from 1760-1830 and critical interpretation methodologies.
