Alice David is an Associate Lecturer at The Courtauld Institute of Art, specializing in modern art history. Her doctoral research explored Latin American identity formation through the works of Carlos Frontaura. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses on Cold War cultures and countercultural art movements across Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Her research interests include twentieth-century printmaking, Cold War cultural politics, and modernist artistic expressions. She investigates how art forms mediated political discourse during periods of social upheaval.
