Gregory Eltringham

Gregory Eltringham is a Professor of Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he has taught since 2005 and served as Painting Department Chair from 2007–2009. He holds an M.F.A. in Painting from SCAD and a B.A. in Art from Northeastern University.

Eltringham's artistic practice explores interdisciplinary collaboration and contemporary visual narratives, evidenced by solo exhibitions such as Inner Tube (The Late Show Gallery), Doublewide (Hall Street Gallery), and Take the Burden (Pinnacle Gallery). His residencies include international programs in Germany and the Netherlands.

Research interests center on the intersection of traditional painting techniques with modern conceptual frameworks, community engagement through public installations, and pedagogical innovation in visual arts education.
