Andrew Brandmeyer

Andrew Brandmeyer is a Professor of Foundation Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA, serving since 2019. He holds adjunct faculty roles at multiple institutions, including Maryville University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis, focusing on painting, drawing, and art history. His educational background includes an M.F.A. and M.A. in fine arts and art from Fontbonne University.

Brandmeyer’s research and creative work emphasize visual arts, with exhibitions spanning over a decade. Notable recognitions include the 2016 Metroscapes Selection and the 2014 AIGA Merit Award. His teaching spans institutions like Southwestern Illinois College and St. Louis Artists Guild, where he has instructed courses in painting, drawing, and art history.

He has organized numerous exhibitions, including solo and group shows at venues such as Houska Gallery, Duane Reed Gallery, and Fontbonne University.
