Gregory Chadwick

Gregory Chadwick serves as Dean of the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, a role he has held since 2012. Previously, he was Associate Vice Chancellor for Oral Health at ECU, where he led efforts to establish the dental school. Dr. Chadwick earned a DDS from UNC Chapel Hill, an MS in Endodontics from UNC Chapel Hill, and a BS in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill. He practiced endodontics in Charlotte for nearly thirty years and has held leadership roles in numerous dental organizations, including presidency of the North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Association, and FDI World Dental Federation.

His research interests focus on endodontics, dental education, and oral health policy. He plays a key role in developing curricula focused on training dentists to serve rural and underserved communities.
