Gordon Fergus-Thompson

Gordon Fergus-Thompson is a Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music (RCM), appointed in 1996 and awarded a Fellowship (FRCM) in 2010. Specializing in Romantic and Impressionist repertoire, his performances include over 45 concertos and recitals encompassing works from Bach to Webern. Notable focus areas are Schumann, Brahms, French Impressionists (Debussy, Ravel), and Russian Romantics (Balakirev, Scriabin, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff).
